How to make the built-in validator less strict ?

From the off I've got to say that I support the idea of web standards but unfortunately I'm trying to work with eBay RSS feeds and they are far from standard !

I also know people will suggest that I email eBay and ask them to make their feeds valid - I have and 'they're looking into it'.

NewsTopica refuses to show this feed because it's not valid but is there any way to stop it validating the feed before it parses ? If I wait for eBay to fix their feeds I could be in for a very long wait !

Pidea Yes, you can turn off Feed Validation at anytime, for this feature please follow menu "System->Edit Settings->RSS Feeds" in admin panel, see "Enable Validation" option.

Doh ! Thank you. I looked and looked and looked but clearly didn't spot that option.

Now if only eBay would tidy up their feeds !
