Hide a URL

Is there a way to prevent the URL from showing in the task bar? I know that you can do this in a regular HTML page using onmouseover, but how would I go about doing it with this script?

Give me an example of the type of URL you are trying to hide.

An affiliate link. I don't want it to be obvious when they mouseover that it is an affiliate link. If I could even just make it so that all of the links said; "click here" on mouseover, then I would be happy.
