Adding categories

Any easy way to add categories than one by one as i have a list of categories i want... is there a way to import them?

Hi xboxundone, have you got an existing directory? If you do, you might want to try exporting the categories from you existing directory via phpmyadmin and importing them into phpld's database. Please search the board, there are a few threads regarding this, one of them is:

It is not an existing directory... It is jsut a list .

Example mine is setup by state and under every state i want a widgets category... do i have to go into even state and add widgets? there has to be an easier way.
