Ok I want to be able to post sites with same title in different categories.

Any way to turn off the site title check or is there some reason this needs to be on except you might end up with 10 AAA lawn enteries?

as i understand the check in a category or even within a sub category but this must be checking accross the whole setup as

my directory i have main cat

UTAH

and main cat Texas

both have a sub cat of magazines

and i want to list my site in both but cant due to title check....

Thanks in advance.

Hi, you mean you want to allow people to submit urls with the same title in multiple categories (there is no problem for the admin control panel to create sites with the same title in different categories)? If so, do the following:

Open \submit.php
Find:
Content visible to registered users only.
Replace with:
Content visible to registered users only.

It looks like a bug, thanks for bringing this up.

Gee, I've been doing this all along without tweaks. No idea what the problem could be....

Hi vkaryl, are you adding links via your admin control panel? This problem only affects links submission on your site not the admin control panel.

correct i could add them in admin panel but i was wanting the people to be able to add it even if name was same. With the change they can.

Ah. I guess I've not had anyone try to dupe a title yet. Hmm. Guess I'll have to test it, then fix it....
