Alexa is nice but you have to pay for it, Thumbshots is free, all you have to do is link back (http://www.thumbshots.org/attribution.pxf)

That's the "free" part. Now comes the "easy" part:

Step 1: Enable PageRank

Step 2: Replace /templates/link.tpl with the following code:

Content visible to registered users only.

That's it!

Do not forget to link back!

There are ways to cache the pix btw. Can post that later on.

I have disabled pagerank, since I don't like the way it looks. Does the code listed here for thumbshots replace the 'pagerank' bar, or does it result in the thumbshot appearing w/ the pagerank bar?

i don't know why they said to enable pagerank....i guess it's because of the way they have their template set up

in the supporters forum there are simply instructions on how to install the thumbnails, well to replace MSN's thumbnails lol

you have to have supporters forum access...
there's also other free providers listed there

really you just place the thumbnail code any place that you want it to show up at, don't go replacing your link.tpl as this will replace any template changes you've done to it....
