Hi All,
I've bought V3 and uploaded all to public_html folder no probs.

Now going to install and it comes to this

Thank you for choosing PHP Link Directory. PHP Link Directory was developed to help create and maintain a link directory and exchange. Many features are already implemented and more are being developed all the time, keep up-to-date by visiting the PHP Link Directory homepage (http://www.phplinkdirectory.com/).
Requirements

PHP Version >= 4.1Content visible to registered users only. (4.4.4)Server APIContent visible to registered users only. CGI mode is likely to have problems.GD Support (for visual confirmations)Content visible to registered users only. (2.0.28)Session Save Path writable?Content visible to registered users only. (/tmp)MySQL SupportContent visible to registered users only. (4.1.21)./include/config.php writable?Content visible to registered users only. ./temp writable?Content visible to registered users only. ./temp/templates writable?Content visible to registered users only.

Now I did read somewhere about not setting chmod's to 777 but I had already done that and now I can't change them back. Was wondering if this is an issue with other users.

BTW I use cpanel

Cheers

Hi anon,
My hosting is thru HostGator.

I must admit, I wish I could get into support, it's been a few hours now, as I've decided just to go ahead with it anyway and these q's about database server, database name are beyond me. Are you supposed to just make them up?

How do I find out the IP adress of my database server?

Dean
