submit rss feed error

when users try to submit a feed to my site i get the following error message "an error occured while saving the rss feed"
my question is... could this be related to my chmod file settings? presently at 644

Hello,

This is a small bug from last version, in new version it will be fixed.

For now i want to offer a fix for this problem:

1. Edit file "submitrss.php", find following code (~226):
Content visible to registered users only.

2. Replace it by the following code:
Content visible to registered users only.

So its all! :rolleyes:

I get an error whenever I try to submit my feed it gives me a malformed rss, but I validated it at the w3c and it passed. I experienced this on two different sites, and gave up after that.

I do not have it installed myself. Has anyone a recent install I can test submit with?

Uh....not the blog, the rss feed:

"An error occured while saving the RSS Feed." - this is the error I get on your install when submitting to submitrss.php
