Is it a good idea to have AdSense on a paid directory

Is it a wise to have AdSense listing on a paid directory, or at least one with a paid features area.

I am trying to maximize the site's potential as much as possible. It is targeted at a locality and I wonder if in users experience it is a good idea?

I think, AdSense is worthless for a directory. You can make some money via paid featured site but it's too bad for a paid directory. coz, u r getting $$ from paid submissions. No need to make any extra bucks :)

I sold many links from my dir and just i am waiting for expire date, Sure I will remove them :D

I agree with vega. I dont use adsense on my directories. I profit from selling ad space and paid listings.
