validating

Hi. Can anyone tell me what code edits to make (in admin/dir_validate.php?) in order that when doing a reciprocal links validation, it only checks listings which are marked as "reciprocal required"? Also, on my directory, URLs are optional, so when I'm validating links, it would be nice if it only checked listings that actually have URLs.
