Hits in/out? Just to make it clear

1. Top hits page - is it sorting by top in hits or top out hits?
2. Inside subcategories, sorting by hits - is it sorting by in hits or out hits?

In both cases, it is by hits out (# clicks on the links)

Thank you for the information. But then, when does the link directory present/sort/use the in click tracking from id's in the rec links? :o

I don't know the answer to this, as I don't use this feature. I think maybe there were plans to do more with this, but I (and others) did not like the link id feature, so the option to remove it in admin was added a couple of releases ago. I know there was some logic behind the use of the link ids, but I can't remember exactly right now.

Well, maybe some poeple would be glad if there was an option letting visitors sort links by in hits. This way, webmasters would have a good reason to send in some hits to the directories.

I thought this was the purpose in the beginning.
