I feel like a twit but...

It seems that the only installation instructions I can find around the site categorically respond with 'wait for 2.0' - well, i'm about to fire up 2.0 and begin my customization process, but I can't remember which files/directories need specific permissions.

Am I overlooking a forum post or help file somewhere?

Upload the files, and the installation should guide you.
It will tell you exactly what to do. If not, please let us know, or even PM me you server info and I will take a look personally, but that probably won't be needed.

OK thanks, I didn't want to start an installation without having the proper permissions and then be forced to start over or manually yank out unrequired or misplaced database entries. Thanks for the reply!

But on the first screen you should see that these files need to be writeable:
./include/config.php
./temp
./temp/templates
