Search function

Currently the search function uses AND if more than one words, how can i change this to OR.

i.e.
search for "apples oranges" will return results for either apples, oranges or "apples oranges".

Instead of currently only returning results for "apples oranges"

By the way i'm using ver 2.0

Any help here? i still can't find a way to do this. can someone at least help with where in the code the search function is located so i can have a poke around.
