phpld installation problems: one easy remedy

I have installed quite a number of phpld directories. Had to do probably all of them manually, due to install problems (you know the rather famous error message on these forums.... something along the ADO database drivers).

Well it turns out (or I am of that opinion) it was most probably because I was using Firefox. Just failed with Firefox, so used Internet Explorer for the second try, and guess what, seamless install.

I would not blame FF! I have only installed it once, used FF and it went perfectly fine.

Strange. I have had it connected with other problems where people with other browsers than IE can't submit to phpld directories. Well sometime they can, but most often not.

Anyway, whatever it is, I'm a happy camper now.

Firefox has worked perfectly for me for the dozen installs I've done. The only time it did NOT was not FF's fault, 'twas my own....
