Several thousand dollars and hundreds of hours have been spent on this script. We ask very little in return. PLEASE keep the link back to this site to help support us.

A couple of important guidelines:
1) {Edited - we are no longer using the wiki}
2) No free support will be offered to people who do not link back. We already have enough trouble keeping up with people who do link back, and we have to give priority to those who support us.

Thanks for your support! :D

Very good rule.

I have kept my sitewide PR 5 link since the beginning and will keep it there to support this incredible script.

Thank you!

Okay, I went through and checked the sites and removed the following:
{Old Links Removed}
If for any reason I missed something, or accidently removed a site that should not have been removed, let me know. Thanks.

Of course, I have maintained a link back from day one - prominent on every phpLD page. Giving credit where credit is due =)

Hi, thanks for pointing that out. It looks like a "jump" link. I need to think about what the policy should be on this. Any reason it can't just be a normal link?

what do u mean by jump link, David?

what do u mean by jump link, David?[/quote]

The page does not contain:
Content visible to registered users only.
Instead is uses a "jumplink" like this:
Content visible to registered users only.

The link would be indexed as a 302 Redirect, which google is known to dislike:
http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&lr=&rls=GGLG%2CGGLG%3A2005-24%2CGGLG%3Aen&q=google+302&btnG=Search

Try inputting -http://www.ilushkin.com/index2.php?option=com_partner&link=http://www.phplinkdirectory.com&id=2 over at http://www.searchengineworld.com/cgi-bin/servercheck.cgi and you will see what I mean.

no problem David, I fixed it: removed the link from the first page and added the link to the directory.
Thank you Sharr76 for your support :) yours is added as well in the directory.
You know I love you guys :) Sorry for the wrong back link :)
Anyone interested to exchange the link as the partner on the front page please email me from the contacts section on my site.
David, please consider the changes.
Thank you, Guys.
Eli.

Ok, thanks for making that change. It wasn't so much what you did, it was more about precedent, and I appreciate your help in allowing me to set a good precedent. Thanks for your support. 8)

I have this program installed 5 times on 4 different sites...all with a link intact. I think this is the best (by far) script for link management that I have found. That includes ones that aren't free as well. Great job guys.

Well, you guys should already know that Kickass WebGeek Resources (http://kickasswebdesign.com/webgeekdir/) links back AND supports you in other ways-- like the tableless template (http://kickasswebdesign.com/wordpress/2005/09/a-phpld-tableless-template-for-download/), for instance . . .

If someone has time for correspondence, here is a honest webmaster: {non working link removed} that probably made new template and got a wrong copyright link back {non working link removed}
At first I wanted register that domain and not tell anyone (just kidding :lol: ).

I have just started to play with your script, as a veteran of many PHP scripts such as PHP NuKe and many others, plus a few I have coded myself. I must say yours has been a among the easiest to get started with. Your simple template layout make modifications easy. The only feature I may look into adding is a method to see a category tree, or list one category with the links in it.

I do have one question has you tested this with a lot of listings as yet say over 10,000?
