Hello,

I've been having this problem with the PHPlinks directory URL rewrite feature that when ever i turn it on the directory it never shows and instead gives an error that the it doesn't exist the .htaccess file already
resides in the root of the folder where the script is, but i am still having
the problem, is this some sort of a bug?
The directory is on a Linux machine and and all my other scripts
work perfectly fine, except this tho if i turn it off it runs well
but i need the feature for better SEO maintaince.
Could some one please help me on resolving this.

Thank you
Bye!

Please go in and edit a category in admin, and tell me what you see in the URL Title box. If blank, that is the problem.

Hello David, Thanks for replying

but when i go into the admin panel and then to edit a category
it shows me ;
Title : Arts
URL Title : Arts
Description : empty
Parent : {Top}
Status : Active

and now i noticed another problem, which is that the links that are submitted *(the script doesn't show the actual and real pagerank) it is
showing N/A (below is a example of the problem i am talking about)

With regard to PageRank, usually the reason it doesn't work is google is blocking the ip or c class. I've seen this numerous times and the solution was to move it to another server. I have about 5 hosting plans, and one of them is like this.

I'm still not sure about the problem with the rewrite, but I question the existence/contents of the .htaccess file. The script itself seems to to be working in the example of the Arts category.

hmmm, very confused i can't understand either why this is happening
can this be cause of the latest release as i think its still not a stable one
i downloaded the latest one, also i recently made a page rank script for my site and it was working perfectly fine. but i dont know about this.

about the .htaccess file it resides where the root of the script is.
when i checked the .htaccess file it was empty there was also
a .htaccess file in the temp directory which contained some thing like this.
Deny from all

Any ideas?
