Error in submit page

Hello.

I have installed the version 2 and in Internet explorer (not in firefox) I have the next error in submit page:

Notice: SmartyValidate: [is_valid] form 'submit_link' is not registered. in /home/dirpagin/public_html/libs/smarty/SmartyValidate.class.php on line 129

And bellow just bellow of each line:
Notice: SmartyValidate: [validate plugin] form 'submit_link' is not registered. in /home/dirpagin/public_html/libs/smarty/plugins/function.validate.php on line 49

What can I do?

This has been an ongoing problem with which appears to be cache related. The usual answer is 'upgrade to version 3, all problems solved'. This bothers me a bit, since if they fixed this bug, many would not upgrade to V3, so... nothing is really for free I guess...
I've been disappointed with the support for V2...
