I have both 4.x and the newest version and they are not showing PR for submitted sites.
Anyone else seen this issue.
Thanks

A good number of servers are blocked by Google from making PageRank requests. I've seen this problem at least 5-10 times now, and the solution was always to move to a new ip/server.

serverunion,
Have you tried to validate recip links?
If so, do some return as validated or not?
Some servers *cough* GoDaddy *cough* block certain functions that we use for remote server connections.
If that isn't the case, I can look into another solution for you to get the PR you need for the submissions.
Thank you for your time.

tried the validate function, didn't do any good. I have them on 2 seperate class c's also, not sure what the issue is. Next is why the emails wont go out, but that is another thread.
Any other ideas on the PR function?

Sure, can I get a look at the files?
FTP / CPanel details would be great. It can be PM'd to me, and also please contact me via IM so we can talk.
Thank you.

For some reason, the PR worked fine when I first installed the program. At that time, my only problem was with the captcha module which required that I install the GD for php. Since then the PR function stopped working. I now have to edit the database using phpmyadmin to manually edit the PR for each listing.
It's possible that my IP address is excluded from Google, but I doubt it. I looked at the pagerank.tpl file and noticed a Google Magic Number. Does this number change occassionally? I hope there is a fix soon.

The page rank feature isn't working for me as well. I mentioned the points in this thread on a trouble ticket at site5 and an engineer there has the following questions. I'll point him to this thread. His inquiry follows.
Content visible to registered users only.I don't really know the answers to all of this, not really seeing an error...just no page rank on the links.

Ok, it looks like it is the lack of permission from google. Does anyone know the best way to approach them for this? I'm not sure how to phrase what I am asking for...what google calls it etc. I'll dive into google land and see what I can learn in the meantime.

Google is not going to "grant" you permission. You will just have to change to a different host or IP block. A longer procedure would be to install phpld locally with your same database, then run a PR update, then upload the database to your server. Casey wrote a script adjustment that allows you to update all links in the db.

Who ever needs to show PR PM me.
The old script I wrote will no longer work for PR updates due to the source site going under.
I have another method I tried on another mans site and it works fine.

So is all the talk about Ip permission irrelevant to this method?

Correct...

Pagerank is still not working on my site.
I have tested it on my local computer using an Apache Server and it works fine, however as soon as I upload it to my dedicated server it comes up as N/A.
Any advice would be appreciated.
Thanks,
