What's the deal with the reciprocal links

Hey,
Why doesn't the reciprocal verification system work?

Almost all of the phpLink Directories that I try to submit using their reciprocal say that it can not find the reciprocal link on the page that I specify.

Well, I know the link is there though....


Any idea?

We have a very improved reciprocal link validation in the latest phpLD 3.1.0
It can be optionally set by the admin to allow the reciprocal on 404 pages, it can now uncompress "gzip" and "zlib" compressed page content (MSN cannot do this :p). This last feature, compressed pages, is one of the big problems all the other phpLD versions have.

As soon as I get the website going, I will purchase a 3.0 version and update my directory..
