Before I start, please don't let this lest be seen as a criticism of PLD2 in any way.
Absolutely bloody awesome directory engine as far as I am concerned and so far the devs and managers I have dealt with have been legendary in every way.

But having fiddled with RC2 for a liitle while I have been considering extra functions or changes that I would like. I am listing these here in the spirit of inspiration. I may code some of the mods myself or maybe other community members or devs may like the idea enough to implement some of them.

Either way I thought I would creat a topic to store my wishlist. :D

A couple of WishLists items for Validation.

As far as I can tell it is only possible to perform a Link Validation on the whole database. If I am wrong I would love for someone to show me where I am going wrong. ( I have 3000+ links so far and I would prefer to Validate in increments)

What I wish for is ....

a) Ability to Validate all links in a category at once.
ie when viewing
/admin/dir_links.php?c=1 ( Links for Cat 1)
I want a "Validate Category" button than runs
/admin/dir_validate.php?r=1&c=1 (ie Link Val but limited to a single Cat)

b) I want a tick box on the Link Edit page that allows me to optionally perform a validate on save.
That way when I edit or add a link I can optionally run a validate when I click the save button.

Haven't looked into the code for these to much, but will look into them as time permits.

Thats all for Validation at the moment, I have a list of other stuff which I will add as I have time (just got a "your network is broken phone call .. time to go do real work")

Ok, I wanted to tell you that the ability to validate single categories will be done shortly, probably by tomorrow.

Regarding part b, I believe links are already validated on save, but let me know if you think otherwise.
