Increasingly we have been doing more Google Maps mashups using the Google Maps API. Out of the box, phpLD makes it simple to show a map view for business listings. But of course, there is so much more you can do with google maps from styling the gmarkers to showing directions between points and most recently integrating google earth views. Very cool stuff and more to come on this. Hoping to add more to our listing on programmable web (http://www.programmableweb.com/mashup/php-link-directory) as well.
