Recover password?

I'm afraid I seem to have lost my password for administrating an install I was developing - how would I retrieve it please?

If not via the admin interface, how would I be able to recover or replace it in phpmyadmin, please?

Just look in the users table using phpmyadmin. PM access to your phpmyadmin if you want direct help.

Go to cpanel and find PhpMyAdmin, or find MysqlDatabases and PHPMyAdmin is part of that. Might differ with different webhosts and interfaces.

From the dropdown menu on the left, choose the name of your database.

Now, on the left again, click on the PLD_USER. Than up there, click Browse. You will see a list of users and their passwords. If for some reason there is some problem (not sure whether there might be), you can always click the pencil icon and in the password field, write new password of your choice.

I'll write up a Forgot pass page for the admin, so you can enter your email and have the pass sent to the valid email.

hi, I have the same problem here. I follow the advise on going to phpmyadmin, and look for the database.

...but when I tried to look for PLD_USER, there wasnt any field like that! what I can see on the left hand side (below database name) is this :-
No tables found in database

what should i do next??
Advise?
