Showing Pagerank Important?

I was wondering, is showing pagerank beside the links (i.e using a coloured pr bar) beneficial? Would it be good not to have it?

from a webmaster point of view yes. for the general/average visitor, no.

depends....its just like anon said, webmasters who submit they're sites like seeing they're site's pr, but visitors mostly like seeing snapshots
