When requesting support for phpLD and/or third party phpLD mods, please be as descriptive and detailed as possible - whether you are making the request in the forums, or to a specific person (e.g., mod author) via PM or email. Too often I (and I'm sure many others) see things like: Help, problems with mod. Do you know what is wrong?

Always add the following:

1. Version of phpLD you are using - whether issue applies to phpLD only, or to a mod.
2. Version of mod you are using. Optional, and only applies if issue pertains to a mod. AND, provide URL to where we can find mod - in case, we are not familiar with the mod or did not author the mod.
3. Full detailed description of issue. If error messages are involved, note (a) source of error message (server, phpLD, mod, browser, etc.), (b) error message verbatim, and (c) what you were doing when you got error message.
4. URL where one can see issue in action.
5. Do you have any mods installed that might be involved. If so, name and version of mods.

In the future, I will direct all those requesting support to this page if they did not provide all of this information in their support request. I encourage others to do the same.

Note: Support for my phpLD_Vault phpLD mods is handled here:

http://www.monster-submit.com/phpld/members/forum/
(this ensures that only people that purchased the mods get support)

I may, from time to time, provide limited support for my mods in these forums. But preferential and guaranteed support is offered via the above link.

Thanks, David =) I do not have moderator privileges to this forum, can you "stickify" this post. Thanks!

Excellent, thank you! Now, I've got to call Oxford Dictionary to get 'stickify' into the the next publication =) They've got a Yank on the editorial staff now, so should not be too hard ;)
