It's similar to Dreamweaver without the heavy learning curve and I use Kompozer all the time. Used to use NVU (it's grandmother, I think) and it's much improved. Simple to use, WYSIWYG (which I really like).

It can be quirky but choosing "View Source" allows you to edit the HTML a bit to make it do what you want it to do anyway.

I have had it *destroy* online free templates (the CSS) so be aware that that can happen now and then.
