Default Site Like the PHP Link Directory Script

While looking around the web I came across a site that looks like the PHP Directory Script.

Looks very much like phpld, " would like like to point out that I am a big fan of PHPld but want to know if there are any mod's out there that could make the submit description like the one on this page? ie change font size and layout

Hi,

not too sure what you mean...
you can edit the submit.tpl and css file of a template to change the look of text and the layout

If you have 3.3 you can enable the Rich Text Editor from admin and then assign which tags and attributes that you want to allow the user to use.

I use 3.1.0 on the directory that I would like to change, can I mod the submit files to do the same as 3.3?

I don't see why not, but it would probably be whole lot easier just to upgrade.

Otherwise, you would have to compare the differences to the 3.3 versions and yours and decide what needs be ported over.

Failing that, if memory serves me correctly, I think user Regg may have a mod for earlier versions... but that mightjust be from the Admin side.

I encourage anyone running anything less than the current version to upgrade.
Several reasons the main one being it is a natural progression of the codebase and that in itself means more enhancements and minor code fixes.

IF you add a RTE without doing like we have then you expose yourself to security flaws.

Fair point James,

Thanks for the advice guys, I use 3.3 on all but 1 of my directories, it would be to big a job to change it over to 3.3 as I use a lot of custom mods on my 3.1 site.
