I am still new to all this and learning. Which file do I edit to change the ad in the 'Sponsors Banner" for this template?

Also which file to add Google analytics to?

My catalog is since 2007 with this Template

(LiveDIR 3.2 + 3.3)

Edit 'Sponsors Banner" in the footer.tpl

Google Analytics: you copy the Code in the footer.tpl
before </body>

Excellent template, neat and easy on the eye.
Can you put a sponsor banner at the top aswell above catergories???

there's a few mods for this

I suggest Dargre's mods Sponsored Ads Mod and [Category Sponsor Ads] Mod

Sponsor Links/Banners

Google Ads inside link pages
Shows Google ads as "Sponsored Links"
Google Adsense as Sponsored Links

fairly sure there are other mods but this should get ya started

On my site, at the top of the categories on the home page is the words "MAIN CONTENT." (its dosen't appear in the screenshot of this template in message one)

I have searched a number of files, but can not find which one has those word in it for me to edit.

Does any one know which file I need to look in?

Hi,

I got a problem with the category link in the link detail page. The link leads to an error of "Not Found". The link URL is as follows:

How do I resolve this problem? I think the problem is due to I installed the script at sub-folder level. The code at the detail.tpl is as follow:

Right now I have an Advertiser box with 5 lines of "Your link here!" I can't figure out how to add a link to this section.
But I had a look at the livedir site: http://www.livedir.net/ and I like how their advertising is setup. When you click on the "Advertise with us" section of their advertisers box it brings up a new page that shows banner advertising. They also have rotating banners.

If that is a mod, which mod is it?

Hi Shadav,
Thanks for the reply. I see that the right_side.tpl is the file that has the advertiser links.
But what I really want to know is what mod the livedir is using on their site,

I tried contacting them and didn't get a response.
They have a cool system when you click on "advertise with us" and it looks like they have different banners for different categories.
