The template was a html template that was converted to phpld any good coder can do it. Look round the internet for a template free or otherwise and then find a coder to do the convertion. My site White Rose Directory is a html template I bought a few years ago for a project I never did so I had it converted to phpld3.4.

James and the paid work section on here will be able to do it or if you get stuck I can put you on to someone who did mine.

Yeah and i know the site it is from but I guess I don't reveal peoples secrets in public.

Yes I keep getting that, Its been up and down for the last few days. Server problem I think.

the site is having problems as I said above if you leave the www. off it works fine apart from image uploads not showing.

Looks to me like DNS records not set correctly for your domain forwarding. Have a look at your 'A Record' settings.

Hi Bruce, something odd going on. I have had problems getting emails for white rose, site not loading etc. At the minute I write this everything is working fine emails and www. working correctly.

Heart reckons its a ISP caching thing although that does not explain why www. on or off gets different results. They also say that the default cpanel page that James got and I was getting is not on their servers. ODD I know.

But as I say it works OK for now.

Changed servers about a month ago, maybe less. Same Host different server.

Yeah, that page was definitely not Heart's, so that's what makes me think your domain DNS settings are (or were) wrong, or something going on with your domain host (not the the web host). Also, it could be weird caching going on at your ISP, especially if they've done a restore and using an old cache, but I would have thought that was very unlikely.

Check you domain account and look at the DNS records for your domain name. Usually you would just set the nameservers to Heart, which are NS and NS2 (.HEARTINTERNET.CO.UK), but if you are using 'local' nameservers, then it's possible that you have DNS records set incorrectly:

It would look something like this:

HOST NAME IPADDRESS RECORD TYPE
@ A Address
www CNAME

Where the IP would be your hosting IP.

You may not have that option though.

Hi Bruce, heart have checked everything and said the severs and domain are correct, I could not get my site up they could. I could even get it on my Blackberry but not on any computer in the house. I am using ns and ns2 heartinternet.co.uk . Its the only site I am having problems with. I wonder after reading James last post if its with moving servers and an old caching with ISP or a gateway is the problem.

But the strangest thing is It started working OK after having another go with heart technical dept. Wonder if there was a server problem they noticed after. Time will tell.

It is loading now for me but am wondering if the old server still has the domain on it and there is something somewhere still pointing

Where can I get templates that are different then the phpLD template like the link in first post.
I know someone will say make it yourself. I can't so asking were to get them.
Does anyone have or do custom work and how much does one usually cost?

3 to 4 hours to change it over to phpld maybe 5 depending on the template... this is after you edit the psd if not then another hour or 2.

pretty much the same as getting someone to create one for you.
