Change PHPLD to regional directory
I need to create a regional directory using PHPLD 4.2. The directory needs to have regions and sub-regions but all using a single set of categories like PHPLD Regional directory. The categories are all available for all regions but only contain links listed on the particular regions they are listed on. The reason i am not using PHPLD Regional directory sis because it doesn't have detail pages, field creation and other important features for a regional directory. Any help is much appreciated.

Just create the categories as regions.
Most people usually have a set of regions and then have the 'subject' categories duplicated for every region. I do it differently where I separate out the regions and subjects into two different categories types and allows submissions to both. That way listings, by default, are listing in both a region and a subject. See submission forms at moneyindexer.com. Takes a bit of coding, but I do have a mod that does this (although not yet officially released as a self-install as yet.). Personally, I think it makes for a much more efficient and easy category structure in that you don't have loads of duplicate cats all over the place.
