List Of Frequently Asked For Mods

In response to the thread If you have the option - What features would like to add to PHPLD?

Here's a list of the mods that I feel are asked for quite often or should be added in as an optional setting or something...

Again I do state my concern that a lot of the mods that are requested have already been made by VSDan (http://www.monster-submit.com/fmain....mit.com/phpld/) dargre (http://www.linkforever.net/pld_mods.php)
and other members (sorry for not mentioning everyone lol)

Though maybe as someone suggested David could work out an agreement with them to include their mods....

Great list! I also have one more:

1. Make the Url optional (not everyone has a website). There are a lot of business that don't have a website, but would like to advertise their business anyway, but can't submit their listing because of this.

My suggestion is to create a list then vote for each one that way we might have an idea how popular they are.

I thought to create a poll while i was doing this...but didn't have the time to lol plus, not sure if it's available to be able to vote on more than one option....i would say for now maybe...just have people post maybe their top 5 most wanted? something like that and then let the mods go from there :P
*cough* or I could do it if they don't wanna....

[edit] after looking at the poll options...i'd have to wait to do a poll, you can only have up to 10 options...but you can allow multiple votes...so maybe after people start posting their top 5 choices take the 10 most popular out of that and start a poll from those.....

Great list. Thank you for compiling it. This will be a good reference point for deciding on mods, or for helping mod developers find things people would want.

I wonder if we could have some sort of a nomination process for which ones you need the most, and then I can see about getting the done.

like I said if people would post their top (whatever number, you can deside lol) of most wanted mods, I'd keep a running tally and then pick out of those a handful that were nominated the most.
Just lemme know how long i should let the nominations run and I'll start a new thread....and keep track of nominations...and then post the total tally....

You can use your best judgement, but try to find a way to get several people to get involved in the threads. Then I promise I will deliver a couple of mods. Hopefully, we can pick ones that will benefit everyone and also can easily be included in v2 and v3.
