Default Can't access admin area all of a sudden.

I logged in fine earlier today, then all of a sudden I'm getting an error at the top of the page:

Notice: SmartyValidate: [is_valid] form 'login' is not registered. in /path/to/html/libs/smarty/SmartyValidate.class.php on line 273

The log in box is also blown out with this message:

Notice: SmartyValidate: [validate plugin] form 'login' is not registered. in /path/to/html/libs/smarty/plugins/function.validate.php on line 46

I didn't change anything on the site, so I'm not sure what would have set this off. I guess something with my Godaddy hosting? It is the Deluxe Linux shared hosting plan with PHP4, and my PHPLD version is 2.1.2. The site has been working fine for 5 to 6 months. I restarted by browser, tried a different browser, and a different computer all together... no luck.

I have a lot of experience with PHP but not with Smarty, so don't be afraid to get technical with me. Any advice on what to look at? Thanks in advance for the support, it is greatly appreciated.

I don't know what the deal was, but someone else was able to log in and access the admin area at the same time I wasn't. Must have been a browser issue, but it is working fine now. Thread can be closed. Thanks for such a great piece of software!

Glad you got it solved. May have been a temporary issue related to the browser session.

Anybody have any ideas on how to 'make' it go away!?

I'm getting the exact same problem, no changes to the site for months, and have tried multiple browsers, systems, with cache cleared, browser restarted etc.

(And I've left it a week to give it enough time to 'heal' itself!)

Any help gratefully appreciated!
