How to add links to your phpLD installation
In the current version of phpLD there are three ways to add links manually to your installation. We will cover the 3 methods with you in this article. Pictures will be included to help you along the way.
Admin Backend method #1
1. Log in to your admin ex: http://www.yourdomain.com/admin
2. Click on the directory tab in the left sidebar

3. After Clicking on the directory tab it will open a sub menu that should look like this

4. Click on the links portion of the sub menu which will take you to a page with this heading

5. Click on the New link button shown above which will take you to your add a link page.
Admin Backend method #2
1. Login to your admin ex: www.yourdomain.com/admin
2. Upon logging in you will see a quick add menu in the upper left hand corner that looks like this

3. Click on “New link “ which will take you to the add a link page
Admin/Editor front end. (Using Chrome template for demo)
1. Visit the homepage of your installation and click on the login tab

2. Clicking on the login tab will open a menu from the top of the page that looks like this

3. Enter your username and password and click the login button
4. On the upper right hand portion of the page you will see an admin actions section

5. Click on “Submit link” which will take you to the article submission page
When adding your link to the directory, make sure to fill out all the fields to the best of your ability. The more complete and precise the descriptions, meta tags etc.. are the better your directory will fare in search engines, and will also provide more useful to your users.
