We've updated the advertising forum rules to make this section of the forum a more valuable resource. We want to make it easier for people searching for directories to quickly find places where they can submit without having to go through several threads that are either not about directories taking submissions, or have complicated terms or expiring offers. By having a simple and uniform process for listing the resource in the forum, it should lead to this part of the forum being for active, which will be beneficial to everyone involved.
Additionally, very soon we will be pruning older threads from this forum, and then inviting directory owners to re-list resources. We will only be keeping threads in the Advertising section for 30 days. This will insure that when someone interested in submitting to directories visits this section, they will only find active directories. Again, this will reward people who are active.
We anticipate some additional changes to this section in the near future, such as making it easier to locate free directories, and appreciate your participation.
