What is changing
From old-school link script to flexible directory platform.
PHPLD Next keeps the useful idea from the original project: people should be able to own and run a directory on their own hosting. The rebuild adds a cleaner installer, a modern admin, custom listing fields, mobile-friendly layouts, media support, and a path for paid listings, featured listings, subscriptions, support, and optional AI tools.
