The [DMOZ Category Importer phpLD Vault Service] allows you to import categories from DMOZ (also known as the Open Directory Project) into your phpLD database. Especially ideal for upstart directories. The service will compile a list of cats/subcats, and assemble them in a series of mySQL statements in a file that that you can import into phpLD database (e.g., via phpMyAdmin).
This mod is offered by the phpLD Vault, a third party vendor, and they require a $15 membership fee.
