Subdomain in PHPLD 3.x

Can you tell me what is the easiest way to change subdomain format from domain/subdomain to subdomain.domain in PHPLD 3.x versions?

first create your subdomain on your hosting plan
second, just copy all files into new subdomain folder
third set your site attributes in the admin and you should be good to go.

I ment about catehgories how appears as category.domain instead of domain/category.
