move from subdirectory to root

I initially installed newstopica into a subdirectory of my website. Now I'd prefer to have it in the root of my website. Is there an easy way to do this or do I need to re-install ?

it should be easy... I have not tried newstopica though
just ftp all of your files to your hard drive then re ftp your new folder (root)

Yes, go ahead and copy the files to root, and it should work.
