Yes, I would be interested in this too.

I've been looking at the new link directory on the block called FreeGlobes and they have some nice features, including the Digg like voting system.

I guess this would be easy enough to create as I understand that there's already a rating system for phpLD.

The real challenge, and what would really take this to the next level, would be the ability for the submitter to insert a piece of code on their site to dynamically display their number of votes - like a badge.

It would contain a link to their listing so that their visitors could easily cast votes.

I'm in middle of compiling a list of pre-sales questions with the slant towards how pimp phpLD up with some web 2.0 features/style.

Sounds like a pretty good idea if you have a way to get people to participate. On a new script that is soon to be released, we already have a comment and voting system. For this one, I assume we would need users to login to vote if you really are going to keep it fair.

I work on a CMS called pligg, which is a digg clone. I developed a (better) "pligg this" style button for them, and I might be tempted to do something similar for phpLD. I need a rating system, and a digg style one might be good.

I haven't looked at phpLD for such a long time, and I've been knee-deep in wordpress code recently, so it depends on how quickly I can get a feel for it.

PS. does phpLD have a comment system at all?
