I need some assistance if I might.

I have found how to choose how many subcategories display on the main page under the main category, but I have failed to find where you select how to select which categories display.

For example under Blogs on my home/title page the subcategories that display are Internet, Education, and Law. I want them to display "Business and Personal" and don't want the Internet, Education, and Law to display.

Can someone please tell me now to change this.

Thanks

Subcategory preview is ordered by hits descending and then by title. To change find in index.php following code:
Content visible to registered users only.Change this by using for example only title and ascending:
Content visible to registered users only.Hope it helps!

I appreciate the response David. Maybe I didn't explain myself properly.

All I choose to do is change the Categories and Subcategories that display on my homepage. I did the standard dump so I have 700 or so cats and subcats in the database.

Under Settings/Directory I have set Categories to 2 columns, and under Subcategories Preview I have it set to 3. What I want to know is how I can chose which 3 subcategories are displayed on the homepage. Under the Category "Blogs" now showing on my homepage I have "Education, Law, Library". I want the "Business, Personal, Webmaster" subcategories to display on my home page under the Blogs category. Seems there should be a simple toggle on, toggle off what displays on the home page without digging into the code.
