I love that layout. It's so clean and just has a certain precision to it all that just rocks.

very nice.

add:
margin 0px;

to the

body {
margin: 0px;
etc
etc
etc
}

of the style.css filew to align it up to the tipy top of the page.

Yours passed with flying colours. Putting it through even the most demanding css tests you passed easily (old non working url removed)
I had the site tested in 9 browser versions and in my opinion your site was more than up to the mark. There was a slight alignment difference with the front page which amended itself but that did not take anything away from the fact the template is clean, to the point, and fast loading.

There is one tiny error that you need to address, (If you want to) and that is your XML feed. (old non working url removed)

One little tweak and thats all you need for a great site. Keep the links relevant to the title now and you will have a potentially very succesful niche directory on your hands. :wink:

Thanks anon,

Sorry in all my excitement I did forget to mention that the template came from Stuw :oops: I cant apologise enough. He and everyone else that I have had contact with have bent over backwards to help a complete php noob like myself :D

With regards to moving the page right to the top...... hmm I dont really know, when I first saw the template used on stuw's site it caught my eye as it looked more like a picture hanging on the screen if you get my meaning. So I will have to think about it, but thanks anyway :wink:

One other thing that I think is worth mentioning, if anyone is thinking of going down this route, pay the $35 or whatever :shock: its certainly the best 35 bucks I have ever spent (with regard to the web that is :twisted: )

The support that you receive for this pittance is fantastic :D

Thanks a lot Kev for your comments, also thanks for taking the time to do those checks :D I've now got a W3C thingy on my site, yeehaw.

How do I fix the xml problem though?

Hi there Spree, I'm not a 100% sure and I'm not a designated programmer for this site, just a supporter :wink:

What I would do is to post a question like this in the supporters forum:

HELP! The XML page cannot be displayed

Someone will come along to help. I have a rough idea but only help when I am 100% certain of my answer!

you're very welcome. truts me, it never crossed my mind about you not mentioning stuw. i just really really like his template and just wanted to give him an x-tra plug ;)

oh, that's definately a 'to each his own'. i just mention it, because if you look at the left & right sides, you see the faded black comes to a complete cutoff at the top, which gives an indication that i think the template might of been originally designed to be spanned from top to bottom :)
