I would like to have a third column on the right side where I could insert "Premium listing" vertical banner ads.

I've tried admin ---> Directory ---> Categories columns: = 3

Doesnt change the layout. (after ctrl F5)

Am I over simplifying? Does this need to be modified in the code?
(Im using 3.2 with Templement template)

Thanks.

you would have to change the template. Add another td after the content and do w.e you like with it.

Hey Smub,

Sorry, but thats a little too 'tech talk' for me. You say "change the template" so are we talking the main.css for the template?

Im looking in there and only see two "td"s... Is this what Im looking for? Doesnt seem right.

I think Im in the wrong file alltogether.

when I say change the template, I meant you would need some heavy modifications because that template is not meant to be for 3 columns. You would have to change the size of the left sidebar ... add another sidebar ...

change the footer.tpl I believe add css tags. If what I said above is too tech talk then I say you should hire someone to do it for you. Still though as a designer of that template I would say it won't work out for you if you try to use that template and add 3 columns .. Might as well get a custom design. Pm me if you need to hire someone.

maybe this might help you...though as Syed said, the template wasn't really created for such use....you would need to do a lot of editing to make it work....

but if you wanna play around with it here's a starting place for you
