no image to see...
in fact you have to use:
Content visible to registered users only.

Yes figured it out in the end but has alexa changed this url. This in the past has been working fine until I checked a few days ago.
The http://www.swapshop.co.nz/directory has had a huge amount of hitts after a deep crawl from google

It seems we are no longer able to use Alexa thumbnails with any consistency.
Some images only appear with the full http, while others only appear with the domain.com address and still others only appear if you use domain.com.
Without a consistent format, about half of my images are always "coming soon".
Has anyone asked Alexa what's up with this program?

First you should make sure that any image that does not appear is actually logged in Alexa. it takes a while before Alexa actually catalogues sites, and sometimes they do not create thumbnails for months.

Content visible to registered users only.
i think at this time the only way to update is to go over the contactinfo-page like this example :
http://www.alexa.com/data/details/contact_info?url=http://www.pagecat.de
Content visible to registered users only.
or you have to go to alexa and insert the url for the pic manually
since 2 weeks you can`t access the update page directly

I don't think you understand what I'm saying. It's not that the snapshot hasnt' been taken (although that seems to be stalling out as well) but that you have to use different URL formats to access it.
Some examples:
Content visible to registered users only.
Fine, so change all your code to domain.com, right? Wrong!
I can show you a dozen examples where only 1 format of the URL will produce an image, and it's not consistent. Sometimes it's http://, sometimes it's www and sometimes it's domain only.
There are probably a lot more images that have been captured and you just think they haven't updated... the issue is that the url's are all messed up!

Here's another example from your site, swapshop:
Content visible to registered users only.

Here's another:
Content visible to registered users only.
works but you have it coded as
Content visible to registered users only.
so it's showing "picture coming soon"
Here's one from Allthelink:
Content visible to registered users only.
works fine but you have it coded as
Content visible to registered users only.
So it says picture coming soon.
There's no way to code for all the different URLs... if you don't really care about the images, it's one thing. But I have paid listings who are most unhappy about their image not showing up!

In main.tpl code is
pagerank.tpl
All code from this forum so it look correct to us?

Yes, the problem isn't with the code.
The problem is with Alexa not showing thumbnails when they do have them because they are randomly referencing a different URL format.
If it matters to you to have all the thumbnails, IE, someone is paying for a listing and wants that thumbnail, you may have to handcode each URL unless Alexa fixes the problem.
I am probably going to remove the Alexa thumbnails altoghether... it's making people mad when their thumbnail doesn't appear and I don't have time to alter each URL for every listing manually. :(

For the record (I know it's been a while) but Alexa did finally fix the issue. One day they all reappeared. YAY!
But it is the problem with relying on a third party for information. :(
