I need help with editing my phpbb forums and the phplinkdirectory script I have installed. The directory script needs some minor fixing to the body and setting up meta tags for each page. Currently I have no idea how to get each page to change its meta title.

The change of meta title is automatic? Click on a few of the categories there and you will see this. There is a mod available. p.m me to tell me exactly what you want, if I can't do it I am more than happy to pay for it to get done as I want some good SEO work done anyway, what better way than to trade :) as long as its for the good of the forum.
