If I have a look at the feature list I see the following: "RSS feeds may be enabled so that all categories have an xml feed". Does this mean that you can include news to various categories?

This feature is not all that developed, but the way it works is you input the url of a feed, and then click submit, and it imports the links from that feed to a category.

We opted to develop this concept more in NewsTopica (http://www.newstopica.com). What will likely come in the future is the ability to merge some of the scripts (ex. NewsTopica with phpLD), so that you could display a news feed from newstopica next to the links in your category, or maybe the latest articles from a category in the Article Script next to a category in phpLD.

This would be pretty darn easy actually.
