what was the fix to get this working properly David?

Wasn't working properly in the intial 2.0(someone elses), but i have since been in a fresh 2.0 install and it is working properly.

let me know what the fix is. i can handle implementation.

David the version you just send me has the "Sort by: Hits | Alphabetical | Date Added" bug. It does not work (yet).

Is there any way to sort all of a category's items by date by default? In the Directory settings it just shows Default link sorting but nothing about the news items. There must be a way!

So there's still no default Date sort option, but it seems to be working on the site now anyway. Not sure why... except that it's sorting on a per feed basis instead of all of them at once. Is there any way to have them all sort together by category? If not this will look really bad I'm afraid...

I get the problem in the same categories where the news isnt properly sorted by date, the two must be linked.
