Hello there, congratulations for the good work you're doing.

I'm planning on building a web directory and I'm searching which product is the best for me, so I have some questions.

I'll describe what I have in my mind: A vey simple catalogue (like dmoz) displaying only a logo, the categories and an add url link in the homepage. I don't want each item to have a [Details] link. I also want the Link Submission form to be AJAX-Powered, asking only for the URL and the title of the link. I don't want any module boxes in my homepage or any other pages. And the most important, this catalogue will be in Greek.

-Is phpLD possible to do that?
-Is it possible to rewrite SEF URLs with Greek characters?
-Does phpLD have an intergrated AJAX-powered submission form?
-Are the fields in the Link submission customizable? I want to be free to add and remove every field I want.
-Is there an intergrated function to auto-generate meta tags and meta descriptions for each page of my catalogue? Meta information should also be in Greek.
-Is it possible to customize the templates as I described it (like DMOZ for example). I have HTML & CSS knowledge but not PHP.
-If l purchase the license for 1 domain how much will cost 1 additional domain license later?
-Does the catalogue supports UTF8?

Thanks in advance

While the translation is not perfect, we do already have a greek translation of phpLD, and will support you in getting it up and running in Greek. You can then edit the language files further to perfect the translation for your needs. As for customization of the submission form, we charge $30/hour for custom work. It may only be a couple of hours of work, but we would need a more detailed explanation.
