How to work on languages files?

Hi,

am working right now on French translation but after 2h hours I decided to test it.. and nothing change.

I worked with text editor... but now I think I did the wrong way!

Do I have to work through the admin to make it?

If yes, I can't do it with IE8, got errors when I select the language to edit :
Content visible to registered users only.

Sorry that's in French but am sure you will understand.

I found why! ;)

Need to clear the temp folder by deleting all temp Php files.

But still got the problem with editing languages on IE8.
BTW, on FF3, the hole lines don't show up.. got a black space cutting the page at the bottom. I think a paging will be great, like 100 lines per page. that's an idea! ;)

If you are a phpLD_Vault Member, there is a Tip&Trick in the support forum that provides instructions on how to quickly and easily edit conf_language.php to paginate the language editor.
