Hey everyone,
I got the 3.04 version and I am very very very happy with the improvements in the coding and stability. Before I got the 3.04 version I had the 2.0 free, and it's great to start your business off at a good start, but when it grows to an unlimited view of traffic and the demand is getting higher from your customers in featured listings, new addons to improve the site in many aspects to keep your customers and viewers enjoying what you have to offer, it's deffinently time to upgrade and buy the paid package to actually enjoy what you have made and also enjoy new versions to come.
Thanks to David and his knowledge in the script, I am finally able to run my site much smoother than before and finally making business from my viewers, plus a sweet template made by Allthelink.com :D
If you don't have the paid version of PHP Link Directory, you deffinently need to get it!
To your success David!

I have to say that's a nice looking site you have there.
Congratulations!
Oh it doesn't appear that the latest links or top hits are working on your site.

Thank you MrBadGolf!
I am afraid I will have to change the template as the author didn't not explain what version it is made for, so it was a risk taker.
if you have any 3.04 templates you recommend, deffinently pass'em over.

Content visible to registered users only.
Nice template,
did you know your add link isn't working? http://www.link2geeks.net/Computers___Internet/Online_Directories/Human_Edited/submit.php was the example I found.
Hope that helps.

I have had to go back to the 2.0 version JUST so I can use this template, it is the only template that suites what I am looking for in a design, plus my customers and viewers love it.
The 3.04 and below versions will not handle this template, all links do work now, even the Submit Link which has been revamped all over. The only issue on the 2.0 version I am worried about on this template is that when you click on a category, and then click on the "Directory" link or, the logo, it trails that category link with it in the web address, this keeps viewers from being able to submit their link, and that sucks.
I'm losing submissions because I am not able to fix it, or not sure how :-/ If anyone can give me some tips on this that would be great, again, I down graded from the 3.04 to the 2.0 to use this, hope that helps a bit.
I'm sure vegabond will update the template for 3.04x
I'll help him when he decides the time is right.
shabu is cool people. :D

Oh man, I am sorry munt! please do add your link in there and I will approve it asap. :( :( sorry man, I just realized it was missing :(
With your last line there on your post: Content visible to registered users only.
I am not even sure how to make it work where the link doesn't trail the categories in the address bar, I looked at the header.tpl and the top_bar.tpl and both are holding the {$smarty.const.DOC_ROOT}/index.php which is what it's suppose to be. But apparently I am not sure what the issue is here.
Here's the top_bar.tpl
Content visible to registered users only.
Here's the header.tpl
Content visible to registered users only.
If someone can answer this, I will personally wire $5's to your paypal account, not much but this is a small task for those who are experienced as I am and may not care to get paid even though it's a small thing to fix to them.
Any help is greatly appreciated!
your link eg submit.php in header.tpl are like this
<a href="submit.php">
adding a {$smarty.const.DOC_ROOT} before it should fix it

Thanks munt, I did notice that was not there, also in the top_bar.tpl, but apparently it's not working :( :(
I am not sure what to do, I am deffinently not changing my theme because of this error.
did you add it like that WITH the forward slash?
{$smarty.const.DOC_ROOT}/file.php

Hmmm.....it worked for the logo, but not for the submit link or other links in the nav :-/ but we're close!!!
EDIT: Ok, munt, you won $5's man, you saved my butt from hours and hours from looking for this error tomorrow, I owe you it bro. Send me your paypal e-mail and I'll wire the money, thanks again bro :D :D :D
