Hotlinking Protection?

Hi,

Not sure if it's in the right forum sorry if its not.

I am trying to add a ptection to my .htaccess file so other websites cannot hotlink my images (jpg|gif|bmp|png) and files (swf|js|css|mp3|wmv|zip)

So I can only hotlink on my site and subdomain but no 3rd party sites can any ideas?

I wont it to allow mysite(dot)com and forums(dot)mysite(dot)com but disallow like othersite(dot)com etc.

I got this but how do I add a subdomain?
