Does anyone know a way to set one-button approval for the awaiting links at admin>directory>approve?
Otherwise you have to click each one individually and this is a big chore when your email box is full of links awaiting approval.

I have seen this topic before, but not sure where it went to...but this tool would be very useful and do a lot of help for those who get a lot of submissions, and are able to just check the list for duplicates (if any) and then check all and submit.
Nice idea, thanks for bringing this up :)

That would be nice too.
Takes me forever to approve each link. And I just skim through it to see if any are inappropriate. Mostly, none are.

Yes, 99 percent of the submissions to my directory are fine and I can see this at a glance. Bring on a one-button approval please.

This can be done with a sql statement in the maintenance section or thru phpmyadmin. Basically, you are just changing the status of all links to active.

David,
for your next version could you consider adding check boxes next to links for mass deletion/addition. and have a "select all" option
thanks

I have definitely considered doing something like Squirrel Mail.

you would want to download the sql file for your link. usually pld_links
and then grab all the ids, and use a MySQL UPDATE thingy to update all the link statuses form 1 to 2
I am not a MySQL genius so i can't write the script.
But that is what you need to do

Content visible to registered users only.
Unfortunately, my mysql skills are below average. I know "what" to do, but someone who works with mysql daily could better answer it.
It is going to be something like this
Content visible to registered users only.
Actually, this will probably work, but test at your own risk!
You would paste this as a sql statement using phpmyadmin or at
System > Maintenance > Run SQL query on database
Content visible to registered users only.
Come on David, your skills are not that bad! Your SQL query is 100% correct ;)
