Hi everybody,

I'm a newbie and I'm just getting familiar with the admin area. For some reason I'm unable to continue adding categories (I have about 10 now). Am I missing something?

Thanks for helping me out,

Mark

All other users as well as myself are having issues with this and should be fixed in the next version.

I am guessing that you are using version 3.05?

Go into your admin, then to the form fields section, and set the character length on the category titles.

Not a bug, just a setting.

Thanks for the quick reply Optimit, I did the following as you said, but this was already done when I first installed it and set everything up, not sure if I am missing something here?

What happens is when I/we create a new category it refreshes the page and doesn't say "Categories Saved" like it should in blue.

Hopefully this isn't a bug and can be resolved.

Thanks!

Problem solved.

System>Edit Settings>Form Fields

Look for this.

*Minimum Title Length (Categories & Links):

Yours was set to 50. Which would mean that the minimum length for a category title would have been 50 characters. You want to add US. 2 characters. Hehe I changed the setting to 2. Viola!
